NEW CONSTRUCTION

Building the future of affordable living.

HomeSpace has a strong growth mandate to increase the number of affordable housing units available to Calgarians. This is why we work with talented home builders, consultants, government, and the community through the planning and development of each project.

We value being a good neighbour which is why we always engage in community consultation before and during the development process. If you have concerns or questions about a planned development in your area, please contact us

Family Lease Sites

HomeSpace is excited to announce that we have been awarded two City of Calgary Family Lease Sites, at 3510 34 Street NE and 2525 Eversyde Ave SW. As part of the City of Calgary’s Housing Strategy, these sites are intended for affordable family housing to alleviate the pressure of the housing crisis on low-income families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

In the community of Horizon/Whitehorn, with close proximity to the C-Train line, we are currently constructing 52 units of 2-storey, 3-bedroom townhouses.

In the community of Evergreen, we are planning 45 units of 2-storey townhomes in close proximity to transit and various amenities.

These homes will provide much-needed affordable housing as well as amenity space, playgrounds, ample parking, and supportive programming ensuring a nurturing environment for families to thrive.

HomeSpace is pleased to announce our plans to construct affordable supportive housing at 2612 3 Avenue SE. As part of the City of Calgary’s Housing Strategy, the site will help address the housing crisis and reduce pressure on public systems by providing long-term supportive housing within a purpose-built facility.

These homes will serve those who have experienced prolonged housing instability and who required medical and social supports to live independently and with dignity.

This project is currently in the early planning stages. Information relates to development plans and approvals will be provided at the link below as they become available.
